Welcome to the official website of the Kisii County Boda Boda Riders and Owners Association. We are deeply dedicated to improving the safety, welfare, and operations of Boda Boda riders and owners in Kisii County, recognizing the pivotal role they play in our local economy and community mobility. Our association operates under The Boda Boda Safety Association of Kenya, serving as the Kisii Branch, where we strive to create a supportive network that not only advocates for better regulations and working conditions but also promotes the importance of safety training and responsible riding practices. Through various initiatives and community outreach programs, we aim to foster a culture of respect and awareness among riders, passengers, and the general public.

Services

What We Do

Training and Certification

We offer comprehensive training programs for new and experienced riders, focusing on road safety, customer service, and vehicle maintenance. Certification is provided upon successful completion of the training.

Loan and Financial Services

Our Credit Committee oversees loan approvals within the approved lending policies. We provide various loan products, including provident loans for personal welfare and productive/business loans for income-generating activities.

Safety and Advocacy

We work closely with local authorities and other stakeholders to advocate for policies that enhance the safety and welfare of our members. Our safety programs include regular inspections and safety checks.

Membership Requirements

How to Join

  • Fill out our online membership application form or visit our office for assistance. For more information, contact us 
  • Must be a Boda Boda rider or owner in Kisii County.
  • Must adhere to the association’s policies and regulations.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (minors cannot vote, hold office, or borrow from the association).
